This journey has taught me self-love, confidence, and the power of believing in myself.
Wieslawa, was born in Lima, Peru. She is a self-taught artist whose practice has been deeply informed by rigorous independent study and a lifelong engagement with museums and galleries worldwide. Throughout her life, she has traveled extensively across Peru, the United States, and Europe. Her artistic development reflects a sustained expose to art, extensive reading and direct observation of masterworks across cultures. All these experiences have deeply shaped her artistic vision and enriched the cultural nuances of her work.
She currently resides in Vienna, where she continues to develop her practice, focusing primarily on her abstract collages.
Tomasevich’s work is characterized by vibrant color, dynamic structure, and a refined abstract sensibility. Her pieces convey movement, rhythm, and emotional clarity, and a divers influence of art culture, offering viewers a refreshing and contemporary visual language.
